Privacy policy

This policy explains what the Triogo app for Shopify ("Triogo", "we") reads from your store, what it keeps, why, and for how long. Triogo is run by Cristian Florin Maxim, trading as Triogo, London, United Kingdom. For any question about your data, write to support@triogo.app.

Who this covers

Shopify merchants who install Triogo ("you"). Triogo does not collect personal data about your customers: it does not read orders, customer accounts, addresses or payment details.

What Triogo reads from your store

  • Products, collections, blog articles and pages: titles, descriptions, SEO fields, images and alt text.
  • Your store name, primary domain, language and currency.
  • Anonymous store analytics from Shopify, when a report needs them: visits to product pages, order counts per product and searches made in your store's search box. These contain no customer names or details.

What Triogo keeps, and why

  • A backup of your product text, taken before the first change, and a history of every change with the old and new text, so you can undo it.
  • Your settings: language, the advertising rules you chose, banned words, brand names and email preference.
  • Check results: your last scans and checks, so a page can show them again, and alerts you chose to ignore.
  • Google Search Console connection, if you connect it: an encrypted access token and the property you chose. Triogo only reads search data and never changes anything in Google.
  • AI answers, kept for up to 30 days so the same request does not cost you twice, and a count of AI use per month for your plan's allowance.
  • Competitors and searches you follow: the addresses and words you add, and what their public pages showed.
  • Error logs for up to 30 days, so support can see what went wrong.
  • Your store's session with Shopify, so the app works inside Shopify admin.

Services that process data for Triogo

  • Shopify, which hosts your store, handles billing for paid plans and runs the app inside your admin.
  • Railway (servers in the European Union), where the app and its database run.
  • Anthropic, whose AI model writes texts when you ask for them. Triogo sends the product or page text, its photos when describing an image, and your writing rules. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
  • Google, only if you connect Search Console, to read your own search data.
  • An email service, only if you turn on the weekly email, to send it to the store owner's address.

Triogo does not sell your data, does not show ads and does not share your data for marketing.

How long data is kept

Everything Triogo keeps for your store is deleted when you uninstall the app. Shopify also asks apps to erase a store's data 48 hours after uninstalling; Triogo does that too. Redirects and texts you applied stay in your store, because they are part of your store.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Google tokens are encrypted in the database. Access to the servers is limited to the people who run Triogo.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. Write to support@triogo.app. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Inside Shopify admin, the app uses only what Shopify needs to keep you signed in. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
